This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of Mental Health services to Aboriginal children and youth and their families from across the Loddon - Campaspe, Southern Mallee region. The role offers culturally appropriate mental health support to children and adolescents and their families through engagement and advocacy. The purpose of this role is also to assist staff to enhance their understanding of Aboriginal Cultural issues in relation to social and emotional wellbeing to ensure prevision of culturally sensitive engagement, assessment and therapeutics is provided.
This position is reserved for people of Aboriginal and/ or Torrest Strait Islander origin.

**Your New Division**
The Mental Health Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment area in Victoria stretching from Swan Hill in the north of the state to Gisborne in the south.
