Fitter/Machinist (Hydraulic) - Trainee Supervisor

Our client is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced fitter/machinist, with extensive experience working with hydraulic cylinders or similar heavy rebuild experience. Their company is extremely well established and specialises in hydraulic cylinder repair, hydraulic cylinder manufacture and hard chrome plating.

They are seeking a hard-working individual that is willing to commit to a long term career opportunity. You will be required to work 10 hour days, and Saturday mornings on a roster. In return for your hard work and dedication, we will work alongside you to develop you into a Workshop Supervisor/Account Manager. This position will require you to have excellent communication skills and high competency using the Microsoft Office suite.

You MUST have at least 3 years of post-trade experience, repairing or manufacturing hydraulic cylinders, and you must be able to produce drawings, by hand sketch or CAD.

A well demonstrated work history will be highly regarded, as would knowledge of Hard Chrome plating or other surface treatment.

This role will suit a suitably qualified person who has problem solving skills and is possibly being under valued in their current position. Their dedicated team are looking for a person they can work with and pass their skills on to. They are committed to your successful transition to a workshop supervisor.
