**About the Role**

Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager the Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering educational activities to Arcare Team members across Arcare residences in Victoria. The Learning and development trainer oversees, plans and delivers the educational offering for throughout Arcare team members lifecycle including onboarding, professional development coaching and change management.

This position is permanent part time, 3 days per week based at Arcare Head office in Hampton East and working across Arcare residences.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Identify training needs and develop and deliver comprehensive training programs;
- Create training schedules for state and residence specific training programs;
- Design and create training materials including presentations, manuals, handouts etc;
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through various evaluation methods.

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in designing and delivering training programs;
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable);
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and training delivery techniques;
- Experience with e-learning platforms and tools desirable;
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Strong organisational and time management skills and capacity to manage multiple projects;
- Current Victorian driver’s licence and own car.
