**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring Asset Services goods and services needs strategically match the supply market to achieve optimal cost outcomes and minimise commercial risk.

**More about the role**:

- Leading end to end process for assigned sourcing activities, including providing accurate status reporting.
- Providing advice and deliver consistent and rigorous procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, market intelligence, sustainable supplier/service development, supplier management, strategic supplier quality improvement opportunities and financial/reputational risk mitigation.
- Proactively seek information to execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Focusses attention on the planning phase which delivers greatest scope of improved performance and solutions.
- Developing an understanding of business cost drivers, identifying and quantifying value levers in contracting strategy development and procurement activity execution.
- Deliver quality sourcing processes and negotiations with suppliers, ensuring maximum value and converting negotiations into appropriately drafted contractual agreements.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will come with solid procurement and contracts experience together with the ability to effectively develop strong relationships and negotiate value add agreements.

**More about you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, accounting, law, engineering, business or similar relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated relevant industry experience, managing large tenders and executing strategic sourcing strategies.
