As the Cyber Security Manager for this fast-paced FMCG organisation you will be responsible for the overall Cyber Security strategy, governance, risk management and assurance to ensure the balance between business outcomes and security risk is maintained to an acceptable level within the parameters of the organisation.

Your role will be to manage the information security by ensuring a formal set of processes and frameworks are in place by which the organisation can identify security vulnerabilities, gaps and remedial actions to ensure the security of the organisation and it's IT operating environment.

**Key accountabilities**
- Develop and deliver the Cyber Security Strategy to identify the required roadmap of projects and initiatives to increase and improve Cyber resilience, maturity and security posture
- Manage a small team maintaining and/or implementing information security policies and procedures
- Manage the development, deployment and execution of controls and defences to ensure the security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology and information systems
- Identify security architecture, goals, objectives and metrics; analyses business needs and priorities for protection of critical systems
- Manage security programs and assurance, e.g., threat and vulnerabilities management, incident response management, management of forensic investigations
- Develop and executes security system compliance policies and procedures
- Informs the review and refinement of policies, procedures and processes owned and managed by IT in alignment with Risk & Governance and internal audit controls
- Define reporting metrics and implement reporting and control of these metrics for IT and Risk & Governance teams
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, gap analysis and assess security threats/vulnerabilities to manage business risk

**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience as a Cyber Security Manager or in similar role
- Demonstrated experience on large technology security projects, assessments and audits
- Experience with IT Governance management including Disaster Recovery
- Experience with working with Business and IT process definition or continuous improvement methodologies
- Previous experience of building and/or running technology Security teams
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., The Privacy Act, GPDR, CCPA, PCI, Sarbanes Oxley, Solvency II)
- Previous involvement in embedding new processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt rapidly to a changing environment
