**MobReady is an Aboriginal owned and led Group Training organisation that offers long term, sustainable and meaningful employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.**

**The MobReady team have been working collaboratively with a reputable construction company to co-design and deliver an Aboriginal specific Civil Construction Pre-Employment program.
**The Client**:
Our client is one of Sydney and Australia’s most reputable Tier 1 construction companies providing road, rail, tunnelling, water and defence infrastructure support. Past project of theirs include works on M12 motorway, Wester Sydney Airport, Sydney Metro and Western Harbour Tunnel just to name a few.

**The Program**:
**Your responsibilities (Once training is completed and employment commenced)**:

- Undertake construction and labouring tasks.
- Prep construction sites for work; including tasks of securing area for safe work, cleaning and site maintenance.
- Moving and heavy lifting of objects, materials and equipment.
- Assist senior tradesmen as needed.
- Undertake safe work practices.

**Things to keep in mind**:

- Working in a variety of weather and conditions.
- Working to strict construction and progression deadlines.
- Physically demanding role.
- 100 points of ID essential.
- Licence and reliable car preferred, but not essential.
- White Card essential.
- Mandatory drug and alcohol testing during the program.
