Life + Performance Nutrition is a niche dietetic private practice working with a range of chronic conditions, gut health, eating problems and eating disorders and performance nutrition.

It is a boutique business established in 2019. We pride ourselves in offering individualised, tailor-made services that are client centred and evidence-based.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to join the team. If you are passionate about helping people, supporting behaviour change for better health and wellbeing, keep reading.

**About the Role**

You will be working independently in a private practice based in Kenmore to start with. The role is currently for half day a week with scope for growth. You will be consulting with clients with a range of conditions, including diabetes, dyslipidaemia, liver disease, gut health and weight management. The role also entails building on the existing referral network and contributing to social media and other marketing initiatives as needed.

- You are self-motivated and a self-starter
- Love working with people face to face
- Have a passion for dietetics and maintain up to date with the latest evidence
- Are able to develop rapport with your clients and can help them find the right strategies to fit their lifestyle
- Meet KPIs and patient outcome goals
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and members of the multidisciplinary team (referring GPs, specialists and other allied health professionals)
- Get results from your interventions
- Can create traction on social media

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor or Master of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Full membership with DA and APD status and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- A client centred approach that enables clients to be the driving force of their own lifestyle changes
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with the team and other health professionals

Desirable:

- 1+ years’ experience in private practice with a chronic conditions and weight management focus
- MI training
- Personal experience creating nutrition content on social media
