**About our role**

Northern Star has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for experienced **Fixed Plant Fitters** to carry out maintenance & repairs of all fixed plant equipment within the processing plant across our three major operational sites, Carosue Dam, Jundee & Thunderbox, located in the Goldfields. These opportunities are offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off permanent roster, with FIFO ex Perth & select sites FIFO ex Busselton.

**_Here's what awaits you..._**
- Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting.
- Assessing the assigned job and obtaining tools and equipment to complete the assigned work.
- Service breakdowns including pumps and conveyors
- Processing and crusher part replacements and repairs
- Ensure quality of information in CMMS (Pronto) database by providing accurate history, job time, hours worked and feedback to Supervisors.

**_To thrive in this role, you'll need..._**

**Experience**: Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment; crusher, mill & centrifugal pump rebuild expereince & hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics (favourable).

**Qualifications**:Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting and Machining; current Australian Drivers Licence; computer literacy - Microsoft Office & CMMS
