We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to become an essential member of the site team overseeing the development of the Luni niobium project. This newly created role will be accountable for installation and maintenance of electrical plant and equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Appointed Electrical Supervisor in accordance with the Work Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations Schedule 26 Item 5'
- Supervision of the installation, maintenance and testing of electrical plant;
- Responsible for the safe operation of electrical plant at the mine;
- Ensuring that all work carried out by persons in relation to electrical plant and installations at the mine is adequately supervised; and
- Ensuring that electrical plant and installations at the mine are installed and tested in accordance with the Act, and maintained in a safe working condition;
- Investigating and reporting details of all electrical incidents; and
- Recording up to date information in the electrical logbook kept for the mine.
What is required?
- Western Australian unrestricted electrician's licence issued under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991
- Statutory Electrical Supervisor (SES) who is trained with WHS standards/legislation applicable to the locations (Schedule 26, item 5)
- IT/Systems knowledge
- Growth mindset with clear and demonstrable alignment with WA1 values
