**Your role**
A great opportunity currently exists for a lawyer with at least one year of post admission experience to join our Melbourne Insurance and Corporate Risk team. The team is led by Peter Coats and Kristy Brockwell who are nationally recognised for pre-eminence in insurance law. We have a diverse and well-established client base, including the Victorian Government & associated agencies and departments, Allianz, QBE, Vero Insurance, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, Comcare, The Municipal Association of Victoria.
We advise them on sensitive litigation including asbestos claims, coronial inquests, liability claims and defending occupational health and safety prosecutions.
**What you need**
- have at least 1 year of insurance litigation
- are familiar with Magistrates Court, County Court and Supreme Court civil procedure
- can explain complex issues to clients clearly and concisely;
- have unwavering attention to detail and technical excellence;
- have a strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with clients and industry experts
- thrive in a highly collaborative environment
