**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Project Director, the role is as an influential commercial specialist that supports the Project Director managing multiple contracts valued in the hundreds of millions. The incumbent provides organisational and cultural leadership as well as demonstrable knowledge, experience, and expertise within their functional discipline and the wider Generation and Development (G&D) team.

The role will be responsible for administrating a suite of major contracts in multiple states valued in excess of $500 million.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Manage and maintain the end-to-end commercial and contract management of multiple multi-million-dollar contracts for the EPS BESS project through OEM manufacturing, delivery, D&C construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations.
- Serve as the point of contact for the EPS BESS Project Director on strategic or high value post-award contractual matters, working with key stakeholders and SMEs across the business to provide guidance and recommendations on project contract matters to Program Director, Project Controls Manager, Contracts & Commercial Manager, Head of Lifecycle & Development Strategy and other Origin personnel.
- Review and recommendation of Extension of Time and disruption claims (potentially valued in the tens of millions of dollars) associated with contractor interface and delayed deliverables provided from Origin.
- Management of significant scope, variation and interface risk associated with split contract delivery model.
- Work collaboratively with due diligence and development teams on contract related aspects of technical, HSE, commercial, legal, insurance, finance and Human Resource related matters. This may include advice and services reviewing contracts under various international laws.
- Prepare, issue, and respond to general correspondence in relation to the project teams contracts including contract claims and disputes.
- Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all required correspondence, purchase orders, variations, contractual changes, status reports.

**IS THIS YOU?**

You’ll need to be focussed on quality and detail, flexible and have the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will also hold or be working toward relevant qualifications such as commerce, economics, accounting, law, engineering or business. Quantity Surveyor qualifications would be highly regarded.

**You’re experienced in**:

- Exceptional knowledge of renewables and/or storage projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative approach.
- Sound knowledge of risk management processes.
- Highly developed organisation, co-ordination, and time management skills
- Complex internal and external Stakeholder Management Skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
