**About the role**

We are looking for an exceptional Room Leader who shares our values and purpose. As part of the Mikarie Operations team, you will contribute to our QIP, deliver and maintain high quality care that stimulates children and lead communication with the parents and carers of the children.

You will be responsible for supervising other educators and sharing your professional knowledge to improve practice, ensuring the environment of the room is engaging and contains resources and experiences for children which aid all areas of their development.

In return you will be rewarded with your own ongoing professional development. We offer non-contact time to support you to succeed as a Room Leader, the option of 10-hour shifts, allowing you to work full time and have an RDO every week, the opportunity to be cross trained in Certificate IV in Disability and a uniform.

**About you**

You are patient, calm and a strong leader who is collaborative. You have a nurturing instinct and support the children in a learning community to explore the world around them, encouraging the development of strong relationships and engagement of families.

You have:

- A Diploma of Early Childhood and Care qualification
- An “Identify and respond to children at risk” certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A Commitment to the rights of children with disabilities to be included in all aspects of life
- A First Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR required (HLTAID004)
- A Certificate IV in Disability or are prepared to be supported to obtain this qualification
