Our client is a highly reputable Australian Higher Education Institution located within Sydney's CBD.

**About the Role**

This is a very exciting, highly influential role in which you would be reporting directly into the Associate Director of Procurement and providing analyses, reporting and advice across multiple different category portfolios. This role is an excellent opportunity to bolster your career as you will gain hands on experience across an incredibly wide range of procurement areas and work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders. Duties will include:

- Supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies
- Supporting sourcing project deliveries
- Providing data analyses and insights across spend, demand, the supply market & suppliers
- Constructing bespoke tender evaluation models
- Preparing reports and presentations
- Measuring supplier performance
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Significant experience within a similar commercial data analytics role within large, complex organisations
- Experience or exposure to procurement data analysis
- Excellent Power BI skills are essential
- Strong Tableau skills and experience is also desirable (in addition to Power BI/not instead)
- Understanding of procurement processes and commercial sourcing methodologies is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to analyse, report on and present complex quantitative and qualitative data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to tell a story with the data
- Government of Higher Education industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Must be able to go into the Sydney office at least 2-3 days per week/as needed

**Terms**
