Reporting to the Manager of Business Insights, the Data Quality Analyst is an integral part of the institutions’ regulatory compliance and data quality reporting capability. The Analyst is responsible for the institutions regulatory reporting and the creation and co-ordination of Data Quality reporting. Managing both data-integrity and compliance, the Analyst loves all aspects of data quality, and providing support to decision-makers to deliver a program of data quality improvement. This role is responsible for the delivery of Student Data through to TCSI & AVETMISS reporting processes and the co-ordination of an enterprsie data quality program, ensuring the Compliance function is enhanced and aligned to business strategy. Day-to-day activities will include:
- Assist with the preparation and delivery to TCSI & AVETMISS of institution students records data, and provide support to the BI & Finance team relating to record reconciliation, management reporting, and compliance process improvement.
- Coordination of the institutions Data Quality reporting program.
- Undertaking data quality review and assisting key stakeholder corrective projects.

What’s the job?
Reporting to the Manager of Business Insights, the Data Quality Analyst will be joining a small team and will be an integral part of the institutions’ regulatory compliance and data quality reporting capability. In this role, you’d be responsible for the institutions regulatory reporting and the creation and co-ordination of Data Quality reporting. Managing both data-integrity and compliance, the Analyst loves all aspects of data quality, and providing support to decision-makers to deliver a program of data quality improvement. Overall, this role is responsible for the delivery of student data through Transforming the Collection of Student Information (TCSI) and Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) reporting processes and the co-ordination of an enterprise data quality program, ensuring the compliance function is enhanced and aligned to business strategy.
- Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Coordinating the preparation and delivery to TCSI & AVETMISS of institution students' records data and providing support to the Business Intelligence & Finance team relating to record reconciliation, management reporting, and compliance process improvement.-

- Who you are
- To be successful in this position you will have:
- Relevant professional experience within data quality and compliance reporting role, with and exposure and an understanding of TCSI.-
- Hands on experience in a DQ tool such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) & Informatica Power Center tools. Performing hands-on development with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) using transformations like decision, exception, update strategy, lookup, labeler, standardizer, joiner etc. is highly regarded.-
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries and experience with any data visualization tool is preferable e.g., Power BI, QlikSense.-
- A passion for problem-solving and troubleshooting.-
- Ability to provide effective and appropriate advice and information to a variety of stakeholders and to use discretion with confidential information.Why join us?
