An exciting 12-month opportunity has become available to join the Future Skills team, playing a pivotal role in cultivating adaptive mindsets and equipping our teams with the essential skills needed to deliver on Origin’s ambition to lead the transition to net zero. This role reports to the Head of Culture, Leadership and Learning and is part of Employee Development & Inclusion.

**Your day to day**

Working closely with the program Initiative Lead, this hands-on SME role supports the development, operational management and embedding of the Future Skills learning portfolio for FY24, including:

- Support the sustainable design and delivery of learning services and activities into the business
- Identification, coordination and management of learning solutions in alignment with the future skills change, learning and delivery framework.
- Development, maintenance and cyclical review of learning calendar.
- Driving engagement through existing communication channels in line with the Future Skills strategy.
- Coordination and management of career events.
- Engagement with internal stakeholders to determine learning requirements aligned to program interventions.
- Development, maintenance & reporting for accessible anytime content on internal SharePoint sites and LinkedIn learning pathways.
- Vendor identification and management, including contract development, procurement, budget tracking and vendor performance and progress check-ins.
- Tracking and evaluation of ROI and impact measures.
- Adoption of a continuous improvement approach across processes and tools to enhance the end-user experience.
- Act as a point of reference for Future Skills enquiries.
- Partner with members of the CLL team on learning design and alignment with the Enterprise L&D strategy and approach.
- Work closely with other areas of P&C to find opportunities for alignment and cross promotion of products and services.

You will also have or can demonstrate:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (education, organisational psychology, human resources, etc)
- previous hands-on experience in Learning & Development roles, managing programs and embedding learning solutions to drive tangible business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and innovative methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills. Proven ability to deliver timely and quality solutions within dynamic and challenging environments.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-orientated approach - you have a bias for pragmatism and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions that consider the business context.
- Change and communications experience (will be highly desirable)
