Requirement:
Skout Solutions and Ventia are seeking Groundspeople and Trades Assistant to work on our Department of Justice & Community Safety contract at Cherry Creek Youth Justice Centre and Western Plains Correction Centre.

Roles are on a temporary basis 38 hours a week Monday - Friday with an opportunity for permanency and an attractive hourly rate of $35.29 per hour (plus Super).

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver high quality gardening including weeding, pruning, spraying, planting, mulching and rubbish removal
- Delivery works in line with planned programs/schedule of works
- Use a range of horticulture equipment
- General hand duties like patch painting, moving furniture and repairing minor holes in walls

Skills and Experience:

- Agricultural chemical user permit (ACUP) desirable
- Experience in gardening or other horticultural positions
- Drivers Licence
- Experience in using minor tools and equipment

A full background and AFP police check is required as part of the pre-employment process.
