Digital Product Innovation Coach

**What would you be doing?**:
As a Product Innovation Coach, you’ll act as a consultant for our clients design teams, coaching them on lean validation methods, continuous ideation and discovery, critical thinking and roadmap creation.

This might include:

- Working with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for innovation
- Guiding teams to stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches to ensure strategy and deadlines are being met
- Leading or designing workshop structure for functional teams and stakeholders
- Promoting and advocating a culture of continuous improvement, making recommendations for key milestones
- Driving cultural change by championing agile and innovation mindsets to ensure our clients are at the forefront of industry best practices
- Facilitating learning and development through individual and team coaching
- Coaching senior management in relevant practices and mindsets to ensure adoption of best practices

**Requirements**:
**What skills and experience are we looking for?**:

- You’ll be experienced practitioner who’ll lead and coach a collaborative team of product, UX and service designers on a range of high-impact innovation engagements across the innovation lifecycle.
- You’ll have expert knowledge and applied experienced in well known innovation tools and techniques, knowing when to expand or mash methods. You’ll love detail and getting stuck in but also see the bigger picture to shape design direction.
- You’ll work closely with senior leadership to define the vision and recognise real business value that doesn’t overlook customer experience. You’ll challenge and support business leaders to drive purposeful change through innovative solutions.
- You’re brilliant with people and will use this strength to create a high energy, inclusive and empathetic team culture. You’ll support different skill levels through their innovation journey with a focus on sound rationales and maintaining quality throughout lean, rapid discovery and iterations.
- You’ll proactively look for ways to lead, motivate and coach others. You’ll be a key mentor for all members of the team. You’ll balance optimism and pragmatism to help the team achieve impactful results.
- Extensive knowledge of both theory and practice of innovation. Experience tracking and quantifying the impact of innovation and seeing ideas from inception to delivery is key.
- You’ll have a good balance of creative and commercial sensibilities. You’ll be just as comfortable running a design critique session as you will be chatting new business models. You’ll have a willingness to experiment and push boundaries whilst staying grounded in evidenced based and feasible reality
- A proven track record as an innovation lead, delivering complex work at a fast pace and to a high standard as part of a team.
