The Victorian Building Authority is seeking an advisor to join the team on a permanent basis.

**Position overview**

The Regulations Advisor is responsible for assisting in the provision of regulatory advice into the development and implementation of Plumbing and Building Regulations, Building Legislation, guidelines, systems and initiatives to promote best practice in Victoria.

In particular, the role will contribute to analysis and the development of VBA's responses to key regulatory reform initiatives of federal and state governments.

**Who we are looking for;**
- Ability to effectively manage projects from the development and planning stage through to delivery of desired outcomes.
- A capable communicator with the ability to prepare clear, concise materials that convey necessary information
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and effectively resolve gaps in information
- Well-developed time management skills with the capacity to work independently
- Sound research, analytical and conceptual skills
- Recent qualification in law, public policy, science, economics, business analysis or other relevant disciplines
