Our Incredible Client is searching for a wonderful Disability Support Worker to join their fantastic team This role would be for an immediate start.
Our Client has a great sense of humour, enjoys being in the garden and also loves getting out and about in the community. It would be a bonus to share similar interests for a common ground. Our Client has a dog so the ideal applicant must like dogs.
This role will involve assisting with hoisting, personal care, bowel therapy, catheter care, meal preparation, domestic tasks and community access. Manual handling, bowel therapy and catheter care experience is required.
Our Client has requested that their Disability Support Workers are fully vaccinated against COVID19.
There are various shifts available across a 24/7 roster including sleepover shifts.
**The above award base hourly rate for weekdays between the hours of 6am to 8pm is $31.96/hr. Our Saturday rate is $43.63/hr and Sunday is $55.79/hr. The sleepover rate is $52.86 per shift, plus rates for any wake ups (Pay rates are not negotiable).**
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have manual handling experience
- Have bowel therapy and catheter care experience
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour
