Harrison School is seeking a Finance Officer to join their team. Harrison School, located in North Gungahlin, is a P-10 school with approximately 1,800 students and 200 staff. At Harrison School, our priorities are learning progress for all students, and positive social and emotional development for all staff and students.

As part of the administration team the Finance Officer will be required to work independently and as part of a team. The successful applicant will work closely with the Corporate Manager in the management of the school’s financial and school administrative systems.

**Eligibility/Requirements**

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to -Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au).

Exceptional knowledge of Sentral (School Administration System) and Xero accounting package.

**Desirable**

First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
