**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity within our Marketing team for a Marketing Lead - Business & Education for a 12-month fixed term. You will report into the Marketing Manager - Business & Education and take the lead on managing the Education and B2B customer segments. A key aspect of the role is to partner with the business to translate insights into business needs and develop marketing strategies and plans to reach and grow these customer groups.

You will act as a customer champion for both the B2B customer and the education customers including parent, student, and teachers (B2C). Business partnering with the B2B & Education team this role will use insights to influence actions and acts cross-functionally to improve the collective understanding of the behaviours, wants and needs of these customers.

You will partner with internal teams and agencies to brief, develop, and deliver on the Business & Education Marketing Strategy through integrated marketing communications programs and activities that deliver on commercial, customer and brand objectives. This includes but isn’t limited to activities such as BYOD as well as broader marketing customer themes and seasonal events such as Back to School, whilst leading key mico moments with channel leads such as School Holidays.

At Officeworks we support a hybrid approach (on-site and working from home), with the currently based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria.

**About you**:

- You are tertiary educated, with a relevant degree in marketing or similar, coupled with 5+ years’ marketing experience.
- Experience working with Agencies (Creative, Media, Digital, Content & Design)
- Understanding of advertising, production, content marketing, social media and PR
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills you will quickly develop relationships
- You thrive working in retail and or/ a fast moving and changing environment, adapting quickly to the reactive needs of the business. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in cross-functional working groups
