We are seeking an experienced and driven **Quality Assurance Manager** to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for leading food safety, quality systems, and compliance across our operations, and reports to the Head of Technical and Quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Quality Systems & Compliance**
- Manage and maintain the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) in line with HACCP, SQF, and customer standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
- Oversee compliance with FSANZ, labelling regulations, and food safety legislation.

**2. Product Quality & Food Safety**
- Lead the QA team in inspections, raw material checks, and in-process monitoring.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage product non-conformances, including recall/withdrawal procedures.

**3. Continuous Improvement**
- Champion continuous improvement across quality systems and food safety practices.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and procurement to proactively resolve quality issues.
- Track and report on key quality metrics to the executive team.

**4. Leadership & Team Development**
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of QC officers and technicians.
- Promote food safety and quality awareness across all departments.
- Deliver training on GMP, allergen management, and quality standards.

**5. Customer & Supplier Interface**
- Investigate and respond to customer feedback.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
- Support product development trials and shelf-life testing.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
