**About the Role**

As part of Ventia’s Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract based in Arndell Park, the Quality Assurance Officer will work in the Business and Risk function. The role will be responsible for the InEight Team Binder and Share Point document control systems and document management, as well as supporting the Quality department in its multiple functions.

**What you’ll be doing**

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
**Document Control**
- Project folder maintenance processes, document storage and retrieval, formulating registers, drawing number allocation, document control and point of contact for documents in the:

- Contract’s internal Team Binder System.
- Contract’s use of the Team Binder Client to Contractor Portal.
- Contract’s internal SharePoint system.
- Maintain the Team Binder and SharePoint management systems.
- Maintain correspondence register from the Contractor’s perspective in the Team Binder Client to Contractor Portal.
- Train employees in Team Binder and SharePoint to ensure effective understanding and compliance.
- Ensure consistency and identify areas for improvement in the document control processes and procedures in accordance with the document management system.

**Quality Management**
- Assist in the distribution and submission of work instructions, inspections, test plans, and checklists.
- Assist the Quality Manager with the compilation of project quality plans, acting as point of contact between the company, clients on matters relating to quality.
- Assist the Quality Manager in managing the Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Tracking Registers and ensure actions are implemented and effective.
- Assessing work carried out on the road network is completed correctly and assessing it against relevant standards.

**People Management**

Assist the Quality Manager to coach and mentor, all contract staff in the understanding of all aspects of the quality assurance and document control requirements.

**About you**
- Team Binder and SharePoint document management experience in a similar role within construction, mining or industrial environment.
- High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability and confidence to engage and influence the contract team to ensure adherence and compliance with document control and management requirements.
- Security awareness and distribution of electronic information.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Previous experience within a Quality role an advantage.
