Liveable, sustainable and prosperous - this is our aspiration for Perth. To continue delivering our vision we are seeking a 3D Model Development Officer to provide informational, supportive, and promotional services which strengthen and enhance the plans and strategies set out by the Council.

The 3D Model Development Officer will assist with the future development of the City Model as a 3D Digital Twin and utilise various visual technologies to assist, educate and engage internal and external stakeholders by enhancing their understanding and decision-making of the strategic and development planning of the City.

Reporting to the 3D Model Coordinator, this position will support the City by:

- Assisting with developing the 3D City Model as a dynamic and rich information source by utilising current and future modelling, visualisation and immersive gaming publishing technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality to analyse and promote the City and its major projects.
- Assisting with the City Model’s future development and its evolution as an integrated Smart Cities Digital Twin.
- Providing graphic and visual production services to showcase new projects and planning schemes.

You will have the demonstrated professional and technical knowledge applicable to graphic still and animation visualisation production, with a strong understanding of lighting, composition and rendering.
