We are currently recruiting an experienced Banking Support Officer - Estates on a 12 month parental leave contract. The Banking Support Officer - Estates will contribute to the purpose and ongoing success of Defence Bank by managing all matters relating to estates, process development and adminstrative tasks which will improve the member and employee experience.

**Description**:
What you will do.

**This support position is accountable for**:

- Responsible for co-ordinating all matters related with a deceased members accounts from end to end.
- Working across all aspects of Business Services including QA, Support desk, Facilities Management, general banking administration.
- Being actively involved in reviewing, improving and updating business processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Completing reporting as required
- In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn the operations of banking through other Business Services functions including front line support and internal Quality Assurance of documents.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience in Deceased Estates and/or banking experience
- Empathy and professionalism
- Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for members and their loved ones
- An ability to follow processes
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills with a high attention for detail
- An ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines
- Data entry skills and general administrative experience
