**About the Opportunity**

Our Service Team has exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Fitter to join the Hitachi Team. This will be a Full Time permanent role based in our Toowoomba Branch

**About the Role**
- Provide quality customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of _Construction and Mining equipment_ products.
- Conduct all repairs and maintenance jobs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Parts receipted for workshop to be tagged or binned to correct workshop
- Ensure compliance with company’s Environmental Policy, quality standards, and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Provide prompt & thorough support to the whole Hitachi range, from 1.7t mini excavators through to EX8000 & EH5000 mining machines
- Work autonomously to complete PM work as well as break downs both in the field & in our Toowoomba based workshop
- Work in a team environment during mine machinery shut downs to achieve a positive outcome with mínimal down time (some day / night shift required)

- Qualifications - Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Experience & Skillset - Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with OEM equipment experience
- Customer Focus - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, understanding customer needs and delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction
