- Experienced Materials & Logistics Specialist required to join the Helicopters Division
- Onsite permanent position based at Essendon Fields, Melbourne
- Immediate start
**Position Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Management of the Customer orders and quotations cycle for parts and repair services, identifying the best logistics solution
- Processing Customer orders, quotations and contracts
- Providing support to customers for the portfolio management and logistic flow monitoring
- Management and monitoring of invoicing process and generating Credit/Debit memos
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to implement the effective ways of operation, co-ordination, and integration of customer/operator requirements
- Management of order processing to meet budget, ensuring full compliance, and highlighting any deviation between the budget and order fulfilment
- Management of consignment stock (consumption, deliveries, replenishment, inventories)
- Coordination and communicating between customers and Leonardo regarding availability of parts necessary to perform maintenance activities
- Management of contracts/warranty contracts: assessing customer’s claim to ensure contract terms and conditioned are met
- Assisting customers with Leonardo Customer Portal
- Liaise with Customer’s for the timely return of core materials and essential supporting documentation including following up for missing, incomplete or incorrect documentation to avoid disruptions in the logistics supply chain
**Professional/Technical Experience Requirements**
- 2+ years' experience in a Customer Order Administration or Logistics role
- Strong computer skills including MS Office suite (particularly excel) and experience with inventory systems ERP (SAP) (the later is not mandatory, but highly regarded)
- Advanced organisation & time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service ethos (proactive, courteous and efficient)
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Able to work under pressure
- Basic understanding of financial transactions (invoicing) and instruments (WBS)
- Basic knowledge of company products in a helicopters environment (highly regarded but not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of transportation, shipping and exporting and the various certificates and regulations applicable
**Qualifications/Certification Requirements**
- Minimum Cert IV Business Administration or Advance Diploma or equivalent
- Australian citizenship (preferred)
