APR Engineering, a leader in engineering solutions specialising in machining and fabrication. We are looking for a Workshop Manager who will take charge of the workshop operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Workshop Team**
- Professional and effective management/supervise and leadership of team.
- Promote a strong safety culture.
- Facilitate daily production meetings and provide regular feedback to your team.

**Estimation / Quotation**
- Participate in estimation and quotation process.
- Analyse labour, material and time requirements for jobs.

**Customers**
- Manage customer relationship, update of jobs, solve job issues.
- Develop customer loyalty through a service and quality strategy.

**Workshop**
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Manage in efficient way workshop infrastructure, assets, and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and uphold safety protocols.
- Transparently manage planned work.
- Coordinate and prioritise the daily workflow, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to deadlines and cost control.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
- Oversee, plan, and implement the maintenance and repair of equipment / machinery.
- Plan and implement the upgrade or improvements of machinery.
- Tools planning and purchase of tools on agreed budget with management.

**The essentials**:

- Degree in Mechanical field, Engineering, Manufacturing, or extensive proven experience within a related field
- Has Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in repair and remanufacturing operations
- Experience as a Supervisor or Lead Hand
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to use machinery and equipment - preferred
- Excellent people management abilities with a focus on guiding technical employees
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control standards
- Experience in customer - facing role will be a strong asset.
