Join The Star Brisbane as a **Venue Manager**, where you'll lead one of Australia’s most exciting entertainment hubs, located in the vibrant Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. As the Venue Manager, you’ll oversee one of our most exhilarating spaces: the 732sqm Sports Bar, proudly endorsed by the Brisbane Broncos. This dynamic venue is the ultimate destination for sports lovers, offering immersive experiences for major sporting events while providing a top-notch service environment for guests.

As **Venue Manager**, you will report directly to Food & Beverage Operations Manager and play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience. This is a chance to lead a talented team, elevate service standards, and create memorable experiences for our guests in one of the most iconic venues in the city.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sports Bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service for guests during key sporting events.
- Manage and lead a team, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
- Maintain high standards of service, ensuring all health, safety, and licensing regulations are met.
- Monitor financial performance and work closely with senior management to drive revenue while controlling costs.
- Develop and implement innovative promotions, menus, and guest experiences to maximise revenue and cement the Sports Bar as a go-to destination for sports enthusiasts.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven leadership experience in managing high-volume bars or hospitality venues, preferably within a sports or event-driven environment.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere, particularly during large sporting events.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
