**The role of the teacher will require**:

- Disability specific knowledge
- Effective disability specific behaviour management strategies
- Explicit teaching skills
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of PLRs, IBSPs, risk assessments and other support provisions
- Advising classroom teachers in inclusive practices, adjustments and building capacity
- Involvement in planning meetings and ICPs
- Willingness to assist with health procedures
