Join the Exact team as a qualified Survey Technician and be a part of our civil construction & mining projects in South Australia.

You will often be required to work in remote locations or mine sites and in hot, dry & dusty conditions

**The role will include duties, such as**:

- Interpret plans and mark out projects;
- Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
- Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;
- Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
- Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;
- Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;
- Produce clear and concise technical reports;
- Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required; and
- Project administration (as required).

**The successful applicant will have**
- A relevant Surveying qualification - Cert IV or higher (required);
- Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);
- Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable);
- Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable);
- The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO capacity; and
- Current driver's licence.
