Cumani Racing Aus

Cumani Racing is looking for an experienced Foreperson for our Ballarat stable of approximately 80 horses.
- This role requires a broad range of skills from Staff management to Horse handling. You will be asked to be the driving force behind the team, the one that pulls the team together ensuring an efficient and effective working environment; a consistent and reliable presence in the yard that can be a reference point for all members of staff.
- Minimum 2 years working in a racing stable.
- Core objectives include:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the stable in a safe and efficient manner.
- Administering medications to horses as instructed.
- Manage the well-being and safety of all horses and stable employees
- Tack up, groom, wash, rug & care for horse pre & post exercise
- Assist in day-to-day operations of the stable including feeding/watering horses, cleaning boxes, and maintaining general tidiness of stales.
- Reporting on all issues directly to Trainer/Assistant Trainer
- Operating treadmill
- Transporting horses
- Race Day Attendance (Optional)
