**The Role**:
As Head of Information Security you'll be a key member of the IT Management team, responsible for information security and network architecture to mitigate and manage risks of threats to systems and customer information.

You'll own Information Security as the bank grows through its restricted licence phase to full ADI status and beyond.

Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive security risk framework (and policies) as well as designing and mapping the IT security roadmap, including compelling network architecture documentation, concepts and designs.

Build an exceptional information security environment and first-class network architecture.
- Professional security management certification (ITIL or CISM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Excellent knowledge of information security technologies, networks and network landscape/architecture in complex and highly regulated environments.
- Exceptional document and process design for complex IT security and network architecture. CISSP well regarded
- Experience working in an industry with high regulatory oversight (previous experience with an Australian ADI or mutual is particularly well regarded).
- Experience with cloud computing, implementing SaaS and PaaS IT strategies with a view to emerging technologies.
- Experience in contract and vendor management, including contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, cloud native security services including WAF and Security Hub.
- Enjoy working at both a strategic and hands on operational level.
- Degree in technology related discipline or business management
