We’re a small (but growing), friendly team of eating disorder specialist psychologists and dietitians, looking for a receptionist with 5yrs+ medical or allied health experience to support our clients and families.

We’d love to find someone with initiative, who can take care of our reception and admin tasks, and be the friendly, welcoming face to greet and support both staff and our clients. To be a great fit with our team, you’re empathetic and helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to support our clients and families experiencing a difficult time. Because of your years of experience in this role, you’ll feel comfortable working autonomously around our team of part-timers, and supporting staff when they’re working remotely.

Specific tasks will include:

- Diary and waitlist management
- Billing, processing private health and Medicare rebates, and assisting clients with claiming issues
- Data entry in our PMS ‘Powerdiary’, and using MS Excel/ google sheets, including data manipulation/ use of formulas for monthly reporting
- Correspondence with referrers, and marketing tasks
- Ensuring suitability, and orienting new clients to our services
- Basic office tidying and stocking stationary/ kitchen items

We use the practice management software Powerdiary, and experience with this is an advantage, but we’re very happy to train the right person.

Hours needed: Mon 11-5, Wed 9-2, Th 11-5, Fri 9-2. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to increase their hours as our practice grows.

Above award hourly rate range, reflecting skills and experience.

Additional requirements:

- Right to work in Australia
- Covid vax status
- Availability during school holidays
- Previous experience with practice software platforms, HICAPS, medicare billing
- A current Working With Children (WWC) Check
- A current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment
