Inventory Controller

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our enthusiastic and dedicated warehouse team. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for leading the inventory control function and maintaining security and control of company inventory assets as well as system integrity and inventory balances. This position is responsible for recognizing problems affecting inventory accuracy and implementing solutions. Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining inventory levels to minimize impact of loses, including damages and theft.
- Conduct and maintain a cycle count program.
- Assisting operations management with physical stocktakes from end to end at multiple locations.
- Investigating and correcting stock variances.
- Utilizing continuous improvement techniques to drive inventory improvements in accuracy and management processes in all facets of inventory control, including transfers between multiple warehouse locations, receipt and dispatch.
- Produce reporting on excessive and obsolete stock levels.

**Ideally you will have.**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a simular position within a fast paced warehousing or distribution environment.
- Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems including Microsoft suite. Previous experience in the use of ICS management system will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work along with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven results in inventory control and large scale physical stocktakes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills which will provide you with the attributes to collaborate with operations and purchasing teams.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
