**LOOKING FOR A CLEANING OPERATIVE SUPERVISOR IN LITHGOW**
**Position Title**: Cleaning Services Agent - Level 3
**Award**: Cleaning Services Award 2020
**Employment Type**: Casual
**Shifts Available**: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm
**Pay Rate**: $35.15/hr (inclusive of casual penalty rates)
**About Us**
Neurokin Natural Cleaning is a premium, eco-friendly residential cleaning service expanding into Lithgow, with a new base opening in Bowenfels this August While our roots are in the Blue Mountains — with established hubs in Katoomba and Springwood — we’re excited to now offer our neuro-inclusive, all-natural cleaning services across the Lithgow region as well.
**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly reliable Cleaning Services Agent (Level 3) to join our team in a senior capacity. This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services for our regular clients **in Lithgow** on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly schedule. As a Level 3 team member, you’ll often work independently and be asked to supervise or guide junior staff when working in a two-person team.
In addition to client cleaning, you will also take responsibility for stock and equipment management, preparing laundry for collection, and communicating updates or task instructions to junior staff. This is a leadership-level cleaning role that requires initiative, problem-solving, and a strong ability to manage tasks without direct supervision. Our clients trust us to deliver consistent results, and we rely on our senior staff to uphold our standards, lead by example, and ensure every home is treated with professionalism and care.
**What We’re Looking For**
We want someone who is:
- Highly reliable, punctual, and committed to honouring their rostered shifts
- Experienced in residential cleaning, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems on the job
- Confident working independently and capable of guiding or supporting junior team members
- Professional, personable, and attentive to detail, with strong time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable when covering staff absences or stepping into leadership duties
- Available between 9:30am and 2:30pm on **at least 3 weekdays**
Previous cleaning experience is essential for this position, ideally with some leadership or supervisory exposure.
Full training will still be provided to ensure you’re familiar with our systems, products, and neuroinclusive approach.
**Requirements**:
- NSW Driver’s Licence and your own reliable vehicle (you must be able to transport cleaning gear - travel allowances apply)
- Legal working rights in Australia
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
**A Typical Day in This Role**
Your day will usually begin with a short pre-shift routine at our storage unit (around 15-20 minutes across 3-4 days). This includes preparing fresh cleaning kits, ordering & restocking supplies, preparing laundry, making sure equipment is ready for the team and keeping the unit clean & tidy. You’ll also check the run sheet and booking notes and pass on any key client updates to the cleaners before they head out for the day.
Once that’s complete, you’ll move into the regular cleaning schedule, attending client appointments where you’ll either work independently or alongside another team member. Throughout the day, you’ll act as the first point of contact for junior staff — if a cleaner has a question or runs into an issue during a job, they’ll call you first.
At the end of your shift, you’ll ensure stock and equipment are left in good order and pass on any important updates to management. This mix of hands-on cleaning, preparation, and light leadership keeps the role varied and engaging while ensuring our team and clients are fully supported.
**Key Duties**

- Training and mentoring new & junior staff members
