About the Role
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
- Commit to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by actively participating in safety and quality practices.
- Raise, send and receive billing schedules on behalf of the Provider for chargeable services identified, and follow-up debt where required.
- Send all inpatient accounts to Health Funds and patients and consult with appropriate Health Funds and Medicare regarding rejections and incorrect assessments/discrepancies and action as required.
