**We are**:
You’ll be joining our Flex Lending Academy Team. The Flex - Lender Academy is a program designed to recruit, train and develop the next generation of Lenders at CBA by offering a new pathway into Lending. If you are interested in a career in Lending and currently do not have a lending background, the Academy provides an amazing opportunity that does not exist elsewhere.
**You are**:
- Looking for a relationship based exciting opportunity to build your own brand in the community.
- You’ll have, a strong presence in the local community, building a credible personal brand with your customer base and a strong and active referral partner network.
- Once trained up and ready, you’ll be required to travel frequently to meet your customers and put your solid understanding of our products, processes and policies to good use by proactively identifying your customers’ financial needs.
- The service you provide will be exceptional, giving you the confidence to ask for external referrals from your existing satisfied customers and your existing network.
- You have a strong will to learn and adapt well to change.
**Your development**:
The Academy’s program prepares you for a career in Lending and has three key components: Lending Fundamentals which covers accreditations, systems, policies and procedures and risk; Competitive Advantage which focuses on your personal brand and the skills you need to stand out and build relationships as well as deal with any challenges; and Support Network which sets you up with multiple layers of support, all designed to help you succeed in a Lending role.
The Flex - Lender Academy is a full time position, however the program delivery is flexible with some attendance in person (Brisbane) and online based on facilitation. The Academy’s program runs for 12 months and upon completion you will be ready join a Lending Team in a Home Lending Specialist role.

- Strong motivation, drive, energy and effort
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and establishing and maintaining rewarding relationships
- The ability to see the big picture for customers and provide them with holistic solutions.
- Formal qualifications or prior lending experience are not required as the Academy’s program has been specifically designed to give participants the required accreditations and skills for a Lending role.
