**About the role**
At Origin, we’re in the process of transforming the way we serve our customers to make sure we’re providing outrageously good experiences for both our customers and our staff. You’ll take on this role at a critical time for Origin as we focus on uplifting our experiences across our digital channels.
Reporting into CX Design Lead, Sales, as Senior Customer Experience Designer you will optimise digital experiences for Origin customers by designing and testing user-friendly interfaces that streamline transactions and improve engagement.
This role will sit within a small optimisation team who will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement across our website, executing personalisation and A/B tests through Optimisely or Braze to drive better customer engagement, improve conversion and allow the broader team to make more informed decisions about what we invest in.
**Why this role matters?**
- Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to identify opportunities to optimise our user experiences across our website and app
- Leading the team through the design process from insight to ideation, prototyping and testing possible solutions right through to finished designs to hand over to developers.
- Providing direction to the broader team of BAs, UI design, Content and Tech to ensure the best possible experiences are achieved as your solutions progress through delivery
- Implementing repeatable approaches (design patterns, templates, guides) across the digital design practice to minimise cost and complexity
**What will you bring?**
- Excellent understanding of design principles, design-thinking methodology and user-research
- Ability to use programs such as Figma, Miro, Asana and Confluence (or an ability to learn quickly)
- Capability in utilising analytics tools, including the setup of reporting and monitoring for the optimised changes.
- A natural collaborator with an ability to facilitate difficult discussions in a psychologically safe and open way.
- Experience working on an optimisation program, or ecommerce environment strongly preferred
