Knife Hands/trimmers/scalers

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced **Knife Hands/Trimmers/Scalers** to join our Processing Team in Coolaroo on **Full Time **employment basis.

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Working with freshly caught fish of various kinds
- Skinning, Pin boning, Portioning fillets
- Safe food handling practices
- Assisting the filleting and processing team with various other duties
- Working within cold temperature environments

**Essential Requirements**:

- Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood and/or meat
- Previous demonstrated experience in Knife Hand / Filleting / Bandsaw experience in meat processing
- Attention to detail in a high pressure environment
- Assisting the filleting and processing team with various other duties
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Available to start work immediately

**Position available for an immediate start and to qualify, all applicants MUST**:

- Be reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Have flexible hands-on work attitude and a good level of physical fitness
- Must have unlimited Australian Working Rights

Successful applicants will need to provide a minimum of 2 current references, a current Police Clearance Certificate, and attend a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing.

**Salary**: $34.52 - $39.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
