We currently have an excellent opportunity for an** Apprentice Program Manager** to provide oversight, coordination and management of Coates’ site-based Apprentices and Trade Upgrades learning programs, ensuring continuity of skills and knowledge within the business.

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

- Lead, coach and mentor the Apprentices and Trade Upgrade staff
- Provide mentorship to site-based apprentices and trade upgrade staff, offering guidance and support as the progress in their programs
- Facilitate the signing of Training Contracts with the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN)
- Assist in the management of apprentice and trade upgrade staff logbooks, to ensure currency of recording of practical work to meet the necessary document requirements for the trade
- Stay updated on evolving best practices in VET Pathways and industry standards
- Assist the BU leaders with rotations within the workplace and off-site locations to ensure apprentices and trade upgrade staff are receiving relevant skills and knowledge associated with their qualification-based training
- Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture - _champion safety with your colleagues and customers_

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Trade qualification and experience in relevant discipline will be highly regarded - Electrician, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Mechanic.
- Industry experience in a similar capacity.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is desirable.
