CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT - BUTCHER SHOP

Location: Halls Head, WA

Pay: $25.50 - $29.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Mandurah Prime Cuts is opening a state-of-the-art butcher shop in Halls Head, and we’re searching for motivated Customer Service Assistants to join our foundation team.

- THE ROLE

You’ll be the face of Mandurah Prime Cuts - welcoming customers, preparing orders, and ensuring the shop floor and displays reflect our high standards.

Your role is all about service, presentation, and creating an excellent customer experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Greeting and serving customers with professionalism and energy
- Weighing, packaging, and labelling fresh meat products (no slicing required)
- Keeping counters, fridges, and displays clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Rotating stock to maintain freshness and quality
- Operating POS systems, EFTPOS, and cash transactions
- Working with the team to keep operations smooth and efficient

- WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience in customer service, retail food, supermarket, or butcher shop (preferred but not essential)
- Strong people skills and a customer-first approach
- Clear communication and teamwork ability
- Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
- Pride in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
