**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
- Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning
- Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.
- Coordinate and implement the SBSHS International Student program
- Maintain CRICOS accreditation
- Supervise and work with the Homestay Liaison Officer
- Lead the LOTE (Italian) faculty in the implementation of the Australian Curriculum
- Coordinate International exchange programs for both students and staff
- Assist teachers link with schools overseas to enhance the curriculum and learning experiences for both parties.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department - Humanities in providing connection and positive outcomes for First Nations students
