**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Area Manager OSHC, your primary responsibility is to provide social and emotional support to students, and/or staff in accordance with the Queensland Government Student Wellbeing Officer Funding Program. You will also seek to create a positive environment that not only encompasses the student, but also their families and the staff you are supporting, to ensure engagement by those at risk. **About You**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Pastoral Care, Youth Work or equivalent qualification. The qualification must include 3 units of competency in mental health and making appropriate
referrals along with a unit in either pastoral care or working with youth (or equivalent).
- Previous pastoral care or welfare experience (nice to have)
- Hold a current driver’s licence

**Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.**
