Warehouse Assistant

We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our team as **Inventory Assistant. **The role requires someone with great attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate and efficient management and control of raw materials and stock.

**The role would be full time working 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Completion of weekly scheduled Inventory Counts - including raw materials (primary focus) and online stock (when required).
- Maintain product identification and locations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Accurately and efficiently managing Raw Materials Transfer Orders and Finished Goods stock between company locations, including put away of stock into production or Online Inventory physically.
- Accurately and efficiently managing Transfer Orders (movement of stock) between company locations.
- Unload shipments, material handling and movement of stock to designated storage racks or inspection areas.
- Receiving of Purchase Orders for Online Stock and Raw Materials as required.
- Count / Check and Review items into company using Goods Receiving Process.
- Provide and correct supplier invoice to PO variances, reporting if outside agreed values.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse, disposal of cardboard and packaging.
- Organize inventory for easy access.
- Collect stock from GC Showroom and HQ in Burleigh Heads - valid driver's license is required.

**Essential Knowledge/Behaviours**:

- Current Australian driving license
- Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
- Demonstrate effective time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience with industry recognized business systems, NetSuite, SAP or similar
- Intermediate computer skills and MS office knowledge
- Comfortable in working independently on tasks as well as contributing to team activities and meetings
- Be able to follow instructions and work with a sense of safety and reliability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with paper orders and receipts
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, ability to lift, bend and pull heavy items.

**Desired Knowledge/Behaviours**:

- 2-3 years in a similar inventory control role
- Forklift operator’s license preferable
