**About The Opportunity**

As the Technical Product Manager, based at our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane, you will provide domain knowledge and technical direction to software product development teams, targeting development of Micromine suite of software products for surface and underground mine planning and scheduling.

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, your key responsibilities include:

- Assist in the development and drive execution of product roadmaps, with specific focus on the domain of surface and underground mine design, planning and scheduling
- Guide the software development teams in their understanding of what needs to be developed to ensure the Micromine planning and scheduling products remain a tool of choice for Mining Engineers
- Consult frequently with Micromine product users to get new ideas and to evaluate work-in-progress with the users to ensure the product is a perfect fit to solving their engineering problems
- Represent the software user on the software development team, providing direction and frequent feedback on new features under development
- Assist commercial and support teams with the delivery of the completed software to market

**About You**

You will have hands-on experience in the domain of surface and underground mine design, planning and scheduling using leading mining software packages.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science, Mine Engineering, Geology, or similar field
- Passion for mining software technology
- Scheduling experience in surface coal mines and/or underground metal mines
- Experience in managing or participating in the development of software products
- Understanding of scripting using C# is beneficial
