**Job location**

Forensicare is situated across five sites across Victoria with its largest site being Thomas Embling Hospital,?located in Fairfield?just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre.?Thomas Embling Hospital is a 136-bed secure hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation and continuing care programs. It includes a dedicated women's unit.

**About the Role**:

- Therapeutic Programs Clinical Lead
- Develop, implement and evaluate therapeutic programs
- Strengthening visibility of the program using co-production an co-design strategies
- Provide leadership, support and direction relating to therapeutic programs

**Duties**:

- Provide leadership, support and direction relating to therapeutic programs
- Support the therapeutic program team in developing a vision for future expansion based upon consumer need

**About You**:

- Strong leadership ability
- Understanding of risk mitigation in the context of therapeutic programs
- Experience in fathering quality information that contributes towards program evaluation

**What you need**:
Nursing
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

Occupational Therapy
- Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia - Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

Psychology
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course or equivalent, or a Doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology from an APS accredited course or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

Social Work
- Approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
