**About the role**
- Develop data models for business domains and project use cases
- Reverse engineering to develop data models for legacy systems
- Liaise with stakeholders to capture business and technical requirements and validate data models
- Assist with translating business requirements into feature documents for data modelling
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure model is of good quality
- Publish data models and produce technical artefacts while complying with enterprise standards and frameworks
- Own issue resolution arising from build reviews
- Identify and validate variations from technical frameworks/practices, and where appropriate either correcting to align with practices or escalating agreed variations for branch updates.
- Hold demonstrations of delivery outcomes for stakeholders.

**About You**
- Highly proficient in data modelling
- Experienced in reverse engineering
- Knowledge and experience in delivering quality data model solutions to support complex IT project delivery
- has advanced analytical skills and is able to translate complex business requirements into fit-for-purpose data models to support business objectives
- communicates effectively and is able to present complex data models in an accessible and effective format suitable for the target audience
- is capable of delivering a very high standard of work
- drives innovation and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, works collaboratively and willingly shares information and works with peers to streamline processes and create efficiencies
- develops and enhances data modelling capability within the team through coaching, providing performance feedback and knowledge sharing
- is familiar with data modelling tools (eg Enterprise Architect Sparx)
