Warehouse Lead

**The Opportunity**

Located at our Mount Waverley site, Invetech designs, manufactures, and ships medical instruments worldwide to our healthcare customers

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the warehouse team lead will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day running of the Melbourne warehouse including goods receiving, picking and shipping

We’ve got exciting plans for our warehouse in the next year including a building extension, new layout and it’s a great opportunity for the new Team lead to help us shape and develop the expanding warehouse and make your mark in the business.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Lead, supervise & motivate a small team; coordinate & prioritize daily activity.
- Manage incoming goods receipt, returns and shipping goods to customers.
- Manage Timely delivery of goods to Production and Projects.
- Work hands-on alongside our warehouse team, ensuring high standards of housekeeping.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure the ongoing safety of all Invetech Team members in our warehouse

This is a full-time role. The warehouse operates between 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday with this role providing some flexibility within those hours. There will be a requirement for occasional overtime during peak periods.

What you will bring
- You are an existing Warehouse Team Lead, or an experienced warehouse person looking to take on additional responsibility
- Strong attention to detail and able to set a high standard for the team
- Must be willing to be hands and lead the team by example
- Able to use basic computer software including Word and excel
- SAP or similar ERP experience
- Previous warehouse experience - preferably in a regulated environment such as Medical, Pharma, FMCG, Rail, Defence
- Valid forklift license and experience - or willing to undergo company training
