**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
You're a technical expert with strong leadership foundations. Your experience has given you the confidence to provide authoritative guidance on complex Financial Lines risks, participating in critical underwriting decisions and developing others. You understand the nuances of long-tail business and can balance technical rigour with commercial awareness.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

- Have extensive experience (7+ years) in technical Financial Lines underwriting
- Can assess complex risks and provide clear, considered guidance to underwriting teams
- Are passionate about developing underwriting capability in others
- Can identify opportunities for improvement in underwriting processes and standards
